Article 1: Enforceability
The present General Terms and Conditions are communicated to the participant prior to its registration for the Global Cider Forum from the 6th of October to the 7th, including the Members Meeting, Welcome Reception, Networking Dinner, Cider Workout, Global Cider Forum and Cider and friends and all other events organized by AICV during the event time of the 6th of September 2017 to the 7th of September held at Fleming’s Deluxe Frankfurt City and at Stadthaus am Markt in Frankfurt am Main.

By registering, the participant agrees with the present General Terms and Conditions. These General Terms and Conditions prevail over all other, including those of the participant, who accepts them by the mere fact of placing the registration order.

Article 2: Registration
Registration, invoicing and payment is done by: BALLCOM GmbH, Frankfurter Strasse 20, 63150 Heusenstamm, Deutschland. VAT : DE249621491. Registration is only possible by the participant in person or by a legal entity representing the participant. Substitutions may be made by providing the Registration Office with written notice, prior to the conference, with the name of the original participant and full details of the substitute participant. Substitutions will not incur any additional charges.
 

Article 3: Price
All the prices are exclusive of VAT.
 

Article 4: General Payment Conditions
“Participants” are defined as a participant who participates in the conference by attending the presentations and the workshops or networking meetings. Payment for the selected package must be made upon inscription via bank transfer or the online payment system operated by this website to be received at the latest 14 days after registration. Registration is not considered confirmed until payment has been received in full.

The payment does not cover the hotel booking for the event. The hotel booking and payment for accommodation are managed separately by the participant directly and costs 175.00 € per person, per night. *

 

*The cancellations for a hotel room are free to the 14th of June. Any cancellation after the 14th of June will not be subject of any reimbursement.

In case the participant is unable to fulfill the payment by the 24th of August 2017, the organizers reserve the right to refuse the entrance to the event.
 

Article 5: Cancellation of Registration
*Free of charge before 1 August 2017

*Subject to payment is 50% of the participant´s fee for cancellations between 1st and 24th of August 2017. Any cancellation after the 24th of August will not be subject of any reimbursement.
 

Cancellation of registration can only be made by sending an e‐mail to sls@ballcom.de the vendor can charge 25 EURO administration fee for cancellations.

Should the organizer cancel the Global Cider Forum, paid registered delegates will be refunded their registration fee only. No other costs will be refunded.
 

Article 6: Miscellaneous
*If several participants register together, they are jointly and severally liable for their various obligations and are deemed to have waived the right to contest or divide liability.

*The recording of any conference sessions at the Global Cider Forum 2017 is strictly prohibited.
 

Article 7: Insurance & Liability
AICV is liable during the event for all that is reasonably predictable by a professional agent.
AICV will however not be liable for any force majeure. Force majeure means any event or condition which prevents in whole or in material part the performance by AICV of its contractual obligations or which makes it so difficult or costly as to make the performance of such obligation commercially impossible.
Without limiting the foregoing, the following shall constitute events or conditions of force majeure : natural or health disaster, abnormal weather conditions such as sudden and/or heavy snowfall or rainfall or heavy fog, thunderstorms, strikes, lockouts, prolonged shortage of energy supplies, closed – or heavily restricted access to – airports and railway stations, explosion, riots, terrorist attacks or threats, war, faults or shortcomings of subcontractors that could not be reasonably foreseen by AICV, acts or omissions by third parties, cancellations or late arrivals by speakers and/or guests, etc.

In a case of force majeure, AICV may decide to cancel the event partly or wholly without liability whatsoever to any partner.

AICV does all in its power to fulfill its contractual obligations and satisfy the participant´s requirements. However, it can only be bound by a best‐endeavors obligation.

Article 8: Jurisdiction
Any dispute relating to the signature, validity, interpretation and/or performance of the present General Terms and Conditions falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Frankfurt.
Only the German law shall apply in all relations between AICV and the participant.

Article 9: Mobile Event Application
By registering for the Global Cider Forum, the organizer has the participant´s permission for him/her to be put on the guest list in the Global Cider Forum Event Application with name, first name, job title, company, etc... (all the participant information given during the registration progress can be used).
